POSSUM news

Dear Colleagues,

Cathie Rose and Anne Cronin were delighted to catch up with so many of our colleaugues and friends at ESHG in Barcelona, and to have the opportunity to demonstrate POSSUM Web to those of you not yet familiar with the new format.
I am sure that you will all agree that it was a busy and extremely interesting meeting.
We were glad that so many of you dropped by to see POSSUM Web in action and to give us your feedback (mostly very positive!).
The most popular features of POSSUM Web are the monthly updates, the speedy searches, and the picture format.

Please send us your feedback on POSSUM Web any time at possum@mcri.edu.au.

Best Regards,
Agnes Bankier, Cathie Rose, Anne Cronin, Michael Black

POSSUM Web was officially launched at the International Congress of Human Genetics in Brisbane on the 8th August 2006. Many of you who attended the launch were recruited to be our beta test team!

Here are some photos from the launch.
We are grateful to the 40 POSSUM Web testers in over 20 countries, who helped with beta testing POSSUM Web.

For the first time in 2007 the POSSUM Team attended the Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting of the AMERICAN COLLEGE OF MEDICAL GENETICS in March 2007, in Nashville. It was great to catch up with old friends and colleagues, and meet new POSSUM users and potential users.

POSSUM Web is available by subscription, issued as a DVD which contains the image database and links to the website. Data on the website will be updated monthly.

If you have any queries then do get in touch on possum@mcri.edu.au
