Your computer must be connected to the Internet. Then simply click on any visible OMIM number within POSSUM and you will be automatically taken to the relevant OMIM web page.

While many of our images are from the Royal Children's hospital in Melbourne, we invite authors of publications to contribute pictures to POSSUM. If you submit pictures for POSSUM, your originals will be returned and you will be reimbursed for any replication or mailing charges. All contributors are explicitly acknowledged within the product.

Pictures that are not published are preferred.

Material that has been previously published needs a release of copyright from the original publisher before it can be used in POSSUM. You need to let us know which of your pictures have been published, and where, so that we can apply for release of copyright to use your pictures in POSSUM. Please send pictures and their copyright details to:

Select "direct to Syndrome" from the main menu. Then Select "Search by POSSUM ID". Enter the number 3000 and press the Find button. Click on Syndrome 3000 to see a list of all undiagnosed patients.

Syndrome 3000 contains all the undiagnosed cases.

We plan to release a DVD (Digital Video Disc) version of POSSUM for the next major release. DVD provides greater storage over CD, and allows us to provide higher quality digital images.
